MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a revolutionary HealthTech AI Start up to find an Electrical Technician for an Ad Hoc/On Call contract based in New Hampshire.
In this role, you will be responsible for soldering, de-souldering, assembling, testing, troubleshooting, debugging and repairing circuit boards for various electronic systems/Prototypes.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in soldering, using diagnostic tools like multimeters, and a strong attention to detail.
Role is AS AND WHEN REQUIRED -Would suit someone retired, or with ongoing flexibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, inspect, and test printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic components.
- Perform soldering and desoldering of surface-mount and through-hole components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure proper functioning of circuit boards through functional testing.
- Follow schematics and technical drawings to accurately build and repair circuits.
- Work with engineers to modify, upgrade, and enhance electronic systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, ideally with PCB work.
- Proficiency in soldering, both surface-mount and through-hole components.
- Experience using multimeters and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in assembling and repairing electronics.
- Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety procedures.
Hours & Compensation:
- Flexible part-time schedule
- Competitive hourly pay (Depending on Experience)
Location: This is an on-site position located in the Hudson/Nashua New Hampshire area.
